Stewart Construction, a top Irish Contractor with over 120 years of excellence in the industry, is currently seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join our growing and supportive team.You'll work alongside experienced professionals on prestigious commercial, industrial, and educational projects.Working closely with the Site Manager, the successful candidate will supervise trades and subcontractors on site and assist in coordinating daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman or senior tradesperson to join a well-established contractor delivering commercial construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of trades and subcontractors on siteEnsure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirementsSupport the Site Manager in maintaining health & safety standards on siteMonitor the progress of works and report any issues affecting programme deliveryAssist with site logistics, deliveries and materials managementEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety procedures and company policiesConduct daily briefings and toolbox talks with site personnelMaintain site records and daily activity logsIdentify and report snagging, defects or quality issues to the Site ManagerEnsure good housekeeping and organisation across the siteRequirementsTrade background (Carpentry or similar) preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Foreman or supervisory role on construction sitesExperience working on commercial or industrial construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction practices and site operationsAbility to coordinate multiple trades and maintain site productivityGood communication and leadership skillsValid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
