- delivering revenue targets by assisting with delivering the organisation’s business development activities
- delivering against defined KPIs to ensure consistent, profitable, and sustainable growth in sales across targeted service lines for the Environment Testing business in Ireland
- developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing customers and key stakeholders
- raising the profile of the company in Ireland by identifying business development opportunities
- working with key stakeholders in the business to deliver the full sales cycle from lead generation, tendering, contract award, and handover to operations for delivery.
- Identifying leads and developing prospects to generate project pipeline of sufficient value to achieve and sustain growth objectives.
- Key account management, identifying opportunities for service delivery improvement, and additional sales opportunities.
- Identifying market trends and developing and executing actions to develop business from these.
- Working with group marketing to devise marketing materials and tools to support business development and promote Eurofins brand.
- Supporting timely execution of contractual processes including escalating for review: Confidentiality Agreements; Master Services Agreements; Statements of Work; Pricing Agreements, terms and conditions.
- Wherever possible resolving, or escalating, commercial issues / negotiations with support from functional leads.
- Executing on the local requirements of global agreements.
- Supporting tender processes: ensuring good quality reviews conducted to understand logistics, operational and technical requirements taking onboard feedback from functional leads to develop high quality proposals to meet required service and quality.
- Acting as a key contact for targeted customer accounts.
- Assisting in the timely completion of Sales Reports.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery: proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer service delivery and satisfaction, working with the business to deliver these improvements.
- Identification of growth opportunities resulting from quality and services improvement.
- Ensuring timely and good quality handover of won work to the logistics, operations, and lab teams so that customer requirements are well understood and resourced by the business prior to commencing the work to allow for seamless start up.
- Previous experience working within an accredited contract testing laboratory or related industry laboratory environment (preferred).
- Previous customer facing experience (preferred).
- Hard working self-motivated and professional team player.
- Confident and effective communicator and relationship builder.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, organise and co-ordinate your own workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
