The Settings You’ll Work In:As a Social Care Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of vital services, including:

Learning Disabilities (I.D) Services: Supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and enjoy meaningful lives.
Day Services: Providing essential care and companionship to people in day care settings, fostering social inclusion.
Respite Care: Offering short-term relief and support to families and carers, enabling loved ones to recharge.
Domestic Violence Support: Providing compassionate care to those affected by domestic violence, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive environment.

Provide person-centered care that supports the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Offer emotional support to service users and their families, helping them navigate challenges with dignity and respect.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to deliver holistic care and achieve positive outcomes.
Document care plans and progress notes in line with best practice standards.

Who We’re Looking For:

A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
Experience in social care or a related field is desirable, but we are also happy to provide training for the right candidates.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
A compassionate and resilient approach, with a strong sense of empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working with intellectual disabilities /Residential care
