Staff Nurse

• Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Nursing Home while promoting residents’ well-being.

• Monitor residents’ health and arrange GP/professional visits when required.

• Develop and maintain individualised Care Plans in line with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland guidelines.

• Assess residents’ physical, social, and emotional care needs and provide direct nursing care.

• Conduct ongoing reviews and update Care Plans regularly.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all residents.

• Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies and regulations.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

• Adhere to Health & Safety policies, reporting incidents, hazards, or concerns promptly.

• Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and carry out additional duties as required.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group

• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) / First Level Nurse

• Strong team player with a collaborative approach

• Experience and/or qualification relevant to the client group

• Knowledge of Health Information and Quality Authority standards

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
