A leading international renewable energy provider is expanding its Irish operations and is seeking a Solar Operations & Maintenance Site Manager to support and optimise the performance of a growing portfolio of solar PV assets.Backed by a strong global group, this organisation delivers large-scale solar and storage projects worldwide, offering long-term stability and clear growth opportunities in Ireland.The RoleYou will be responsible for the full operation and maintenance of solar PV sites within your assigned area, ensuring performance targets, safety standards, and client expectations are consistently met.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all operations and maintenance activities across multiple PV sites to meet contractual KPIs
  • Coordinating and leading field technicians across your region
  • Acting as the key interface with clients, grid operators, and local stakeholders
  • Leading complex fault finding and supporting technical troubleshooting on-site
  • Identifying and implementing plant improvements, retrofits, and upgrades
  • Ensuring full compliance with HSE, legal, and company standards
  • Supporting commissioning and start-up of new solar assets
  • Assisting in building and developing maintenance teams
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical or Electrotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar operations and maintenance role within renewables
  • Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems and power electronics
  • Experience managing maintenance systems and technical teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel
