- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years in a senior role demonstrating career progression.
- Previous experience working for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK on utility/infrastructure projects is essential.
- Proven track record of managing projects within the utilities/infrastructure sector, including pipelines, underground cables, overhead cables, and energy infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, project teams, and senior management.
- Thorough understanding of QA/QC processes, health and safety regulations, and environmental management practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with experience in planning and program management.
- Demonstrable experience in managing interfaces between clients, project teams, and senior management.
- Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the resourcing and management of project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies, with a focus on resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Utilise sound knowledge of PSCS responsibilities and hands-on experience in site management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage construction sites from an environmental perspective, implementing sustainable practices and minimising environmental impact.
- Implement QA/QC processes and procedures to ensure a ‘right first time’ approach to project delivery.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and experience in contract administration, with proficiency in NEC and FIDIC contracts preferred.
- Develop and manage project plans and schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Act as a key interface between clients, project teams, and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
