What you need to knowYou will work as a Production Electrician for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Co. Cavan.In this role you will be responsible for all electrical elements that effect the day to day production in the plant.This role is a permanent position. The hours involved are 6 AM- 2PM Monday to Friday and an evening shift which operates from 2-10 PM. Monday to Friday. This will be on a rotational shift basis.Your new jobKey duties and responsibilities:Carry out work in relation to electrical cable joints and terminations,Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and maintaining documentation records, carrying out overhauls, repairs, and line modifications.Possess the ability to test & fault find.Communicate effectively with management and other departments on any preventative maintenance and repair work carried out.Maintain good housekeeping standards in all areas and carry out all jobs to a high standard.The ability to Remain Health and Safety conscious at all times.What are we looking for?A formal qualification as an electrician.3- years' post qualification in a manufacturing environment.Exposure to cross/multi-skilled electrical and mechanical work.Experience in dealing with breakdowns, routine inspections, and project electrical work.Maintaining a proactive approach in a production/target minded environment.Apply for this job now by sending in a Word version of your CV or get in touch with Eugene at or alternatively by phone at 087 4075822.By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
