Accounts Technician

• Established Reputation: A reputable chartered accountancy firm with over 30 years of experience.

• Financial Statements & Working Papers: Prepare working papers and financial statements in line with relevant standards.
• Management Accounts: Manage quarterly and semi-annual accounts for specific clients.
• VAT and RCT Returns: Prepare, complete, and file VAT, VAT RTD, and RCT returns.
• Year-End Files: Draft year-end files.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations.
• Client Interaction: Address and manage client queries effectively.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the team or work independently with minimal supervision.
• Additional Duties: Handle other tasks as required by the business.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a busy accountancy firm.
• Qualifications: Accounting Technician or IPASS Certification.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Time Management: Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel (minimum intermediate), Sage Accounts, and Accounts Production (CCH or other).
