Based in Dublin, they are passionate about building a greener, cleaner future and empowering individuals and businesses to make sustainable choices.The company is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Manager to lead their external and internal communications efforts. This role will drive impactful campaigns, craft compelling stories, and position the company as the smarter, greener choice in waste management.Key Responsibilities:Develop and Lead Communications Strategies:
  • Create and execute storytelling initiatives across diverse platforms, including video, digital, social media, and traditional channels.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, such as government bodies, media outlets, and industry partners, to amplify the message of the circular economy.
Campaign Development & Behavioural Change:
  • Design and manage campaigns that educate and encourage customers to carry-out best recycling practices.
  • Highlight environmental and financial implications of not meeting waste reduction targets through compelling narratives.
Brand Growth & Public Engagement:
  • Strengthen the company's brand perception as a sustainable, innovative leader in waste management.
  • Develop creative, attention-grabbing campaigns that attract new customers while retaining existing ones.
Internal Communications & Team Empowerment:
  • Foster a strong company culture by improving internal communication channels, ensuring alignment with the broader mission.
Content Creation & Media Relations:
  • Produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and on-the-ground stories.
  • Act as the primary media contact, pitching stories and building a robust media network.
Tender Writing & Strategic Documentation:
  • Contribute to winning new projects by crafting persuasive corporate tenders and strategic submissions.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, journalism, public affairs, or content strategy.
  • Strong digital content creation skills, including proficiency in video production, social media management, and storytelling.
  • A natural ability to craft compelling narratives and inspire behavioural change.
  • Familiarity with public policy, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional writing skills across multiple formats, including press releases, scripts, and web content.
  • Experience in sustainability or waste management sectors is a plus.
