On behalf of our client, a reputable energy firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Trading Manager to join their Dublin team.Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Lead and manage a short-term energy trading team to optimise positions and deliver financial performance.
  • Oversee trading operations, ensuring robust systems, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management
  • Coordinate the integration and management of trading services for large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, drive innovation, and promote a positive, high-performing team culture.
Requirements of the Role:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in electricity/gas/commodity markets with strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication abilities with operational risk awareness.
  • Relevant 3rd level degree (Business, Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
