- Follow the Quality & Food Safety Management System Policy and meet the requirements of the organisation's Integrated Management System.
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors.
- Weekly meets with Quality Manager to review QC testing schedule.
- Induction and training of new lab personnel.
- Product Testing including Incoming goods, in process, finished products, new products and environmental samples.
- External testing of bulk solvents.
- Reworking of non-conforming products.
- Maintaining QC documentation.
- External calibrations and internal calibrations as needed.
- Assist the Process Chemist as needed.
- Assisting in the management of Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Distribution, maintaining and updating of product and raw material specifications.
- Work on quality aspects of new products and projects.
- Degree in a Science discipline.
- 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
