Workload: 100%Join us in our mission to expand Axpo's footprint in the Irish energy markets! We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Junior Originator to support our origination activities in Ireland.What you will do:

Support the identification and negotiation of origination transactions with electricity and gas producers, mid-stream players in electricity and gas markets and consumers in the Republic of Ireland.
Identify emerging trends and trading opportunities within the Irish and European energy markets, collaborating with Trading, Risk, and Back Office teams to help structure innovative non-standard transactions.
Help to forge long term strategic partnerships with new customers in order to identify and develop innovative products and services to drive country profitability.
Actively engage in pan-European RFQ opportunities, working alongside Axpo colleagues across various EU divisions.
Collaborate closely with internal risk, legal, and credit departments, in addition to external legal and financial advisors representing Axpo customers.
Provide support to Middle and Back Office teams throughout the deal execution process, offering expertise in deal booking, credit discussions as well as addressing commercial and settlement queries.
Foster a culture of knowledge exchange, sharing best practices with fellow originators in other regions, while continuously monitoring regulatory shifts and developments within the Irish market.

What you bring & who you are:

Prior experience with the origination and negotiation of wholesale or retail agreements in the Irish energy market is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills.
Adeptness at collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
Self-driven and highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills, known for being a strong team player.
Fluency in English..
