Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm | Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pmAbout the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join their busy site in Kildare Town. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials, stock management, and supporting smooth site operations.Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move materials.
- Assist with the organisation and upkeep of the yard to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
- Support with stock control, including checking deliveries, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Carry out manual handling duties in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and contribute to a safe working culture.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate (essential).
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment desirable.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Regular daytime hours with early finish on Fridays.
