Salary: €70k–€80k DOEOptimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Senior Finishing Foreman to join a strong and well-established main residential developer/contractor on a large, multi-phase housing and apartment development in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.About the RoleThe project is a substantial residential scheme comprising a mix of houses and multi-storey apartment blocks, delivered across several phases within a live housing estate environment. Works are currently progressing through advanced construction and finishing stages, requiring strong coordination, quality control, and structured handovers across a high volume of units. The role will sit within a fully resourced and experienced site team, overseeing multiple finishing work fronts at varying stages of completion. In addition to the current development, a new residential scheme is due to commence nearby, alongside further local works, offering strong long-term continuity.Responsibilities
- Oversee all internal finishing works across houses and apartments
- Manage subcontractors through final fit-out and handover stages
- Maintain quality standards in line with developer specifications
- Coordinate snagging, inspections, and phased unit completions
- Monitor programme targets and short-term finishing schedules
- Liaise closely with Site Management and Health and Safety teams
- Ensure consistent presentation standards across completed units
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential housing developments
- Background with a Main Irish Contractor or Residential Developer
- 7+ years’ experience managing finishing works on housing estates
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts
- Strong eye for detail during snagging and close-out stages
- Confident communicator within structured site teams
- Irish/UK experience on medium to large-scale housing projects required.
- Salary range €70k–€80k depending on experience
