The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting and compliance services. The role would suit a qualified accountant with practice experience who values variety, responsibility, and client interaction.Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Assisting with tax returns and statutory filings
- Payroll processing and related compliance activities
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries professionally
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Filing and submissions through ROS and CRO systems
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage)
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g. Thesaurus Payroll)
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Experience using ROS and CRO online systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
