- Ensure that all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, reporting, preparation of interim payments and settlement of final accounts and carried out in a professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure that the project programme from the Construction Team is received and agree the relevant dates for the procurement of each sub-contract package and adhered to
- Ensure that all information required complete procurement and liaise with the Procurement Director to ensure procurement is completed in accordance with procurement guidelines.
- Ensure attendance at pre-contract and kick-off meetings by relevant stakeholders
- Ensure all relevant information is provided by QS teams to enable sub-contract and professional appointments are in line with the procurement schedule and procurement guidelines.
- Oversee the procurement of subcontractor packages, in line with agreed procurement schedule.
- Ensure all relevant sub-contract documentation is issued to the Subcontractor
- Review appointment/ sub-contract schedule and update it regularly
- Ensure all supplemental sub-contract documentation which will include pre-contract meeting agenda, collateral warranties, vesting certification etc. are issued in a timely fashion
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Significant experience with a developer or a residential construction company
- Must have experience in either housing or apartment projects
- Strong team management experience
- Must have strong measurement and take off skills
- Must have strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
