- Safely operate vehicles and equipment to support the completion of road maintenance and related tasks.
- Perform general physical activities related to roadworks and depot tasks.
- Conduct routine safety assessments and vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain and follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and demonstrate initiative when working independently.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support operational need.
- Valid C or CE driving license with a minimum of 6 months’ experience.
- Full clean driving license required.
- Valid Safe Pass is essential.
- Manual handling certification is an advantage (training can be provided).
- Traffic management experience desirable (training provided).
- Experience in the civil, construction, or road maintenance industry is a plus.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Standard shifts:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
- Availability for on-call work outside standard hours is required.
- Base Rate: €17.40 – €17.80 per hour
- Night Shift Premium (1.3x): €22.62 – €23.14
- Overtime (1.5x after 40 hours): €26.10 – €26.70
- Winter/Emergency On-Call (1.75x): €30.45 – €31.15
- Sunday/Bank Holiday (2x): €34.80 – €35.60
- Tax-Free Daily Subsistence: €8.28
- Weekly On-Call Allowance: €190
