- Manage, monitor and report on commercial and cost reporting aspects of allocated
- projects and portfolio of works.
- Support the programme and project teams to ensure full compliance with contract and
- corporate governance rules.
- Lead on commercial review and valuation of contractor applications for payment in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and contractual entitlement.
- Provide proactive advice and guidance on all change including proposed scope changes.
- Produce appropriate commercial correspondence and contractual notices for issue in accordance with contractual conditions.
- Contract administration of industry standard and bespoke forms of contract including NEC and ICC terms.
- Ensure that commercial records are retained and archived properly.
- Manage the final account settlements.
- Support in the pre-contract procurement of suppliers/main contractors and consultants for projects and programmes.
- Ideally you will be Educated to a degree standard in a related subject or Associate Member of a relevant professional institute with Chartered status.
- Knowledge and experience of NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 contracts.
- Experience of working in the Rail sector is preferable. Also working in a similar role with Consultancies, Clients or main contractors delivering Civils, M&E, and Railway infrastructure projects will also be considered.
- Able to prioritise the delivery of the objectives of their role.
- Good communication skills.
