Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Qualified Maintenance Fitter for our Client, based in the Carlow Area.
This is a permanent Role.Your new jobKey duties & responsibilities:Conducting preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and enhance machinery longevity.Diagnosing and addressing mechanical issues promptly to prevent production delays.Proficiently handling hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, turning, and welding tasks.Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance challenges efficiently.Executing reactive maintenance tasks with precision and urgency to restore equipment functionality.Documenting maintenance activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.What are we looking for?Preventative & reactive maintenance experienceProven experience in maintenance operations within an industrial setting, preferably in timber processing or related industries.Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, turning, and welding techniques.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Willingness to work on a 2-shift rotation schedule.Relevant trade certification or vocational training preferred.Apply for this job now by emailing your WORD formatted CV to
