Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. This is a training and work experience opportunity, no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and /or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI work experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfill your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Participants will receive excellent on the job training and be supported by a mentor. This busy environment generates good work ethics and helps strengthen the participants personal and interpersonal skills. This also helps builds confidence and self-esteem. You do not need to have any experience or qualifications. Suitable candidates will have the opportunity to develop through further training and education. Participants will gain practical experience by assisting in a variety of tasks including 1. Assisting with Customers who enter the store. 2. Communicating with clients over the phone, in writing and in person. 3. Assisting with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying and ensuring clients files are kept up to date. 4. Learning about check in and the pre-screening process. 5. Assisting with providing styling advice, choosing and fitting of frames. 6. Assisting with laboratory work. 7. Client relations and customer service skills. 8.
