I'm delighted to be working an excellent role with one of our Electronics clients, based in Dublin 2. This is a permanent role with strong salary on offer, as well as the chance to join a high performing team in an innovative company.Role OverviewWorking within the Operations, Production, and Quality team, this role focuses on supporting the company's products across manufacturing, customer support, and new product introduction (NPI). Responsibilities include ensuring products meet defined test procedures and customer-specific hardware and software requirements.A key aspect of the role is supporting new product introduction by ensuring readiness for subcontract manufacturing, including developing documentation, test procedures, and providing training and ongoing support to manufacturing partners. Maintaining high product quality standards and compliance with ISO9001 is central to this position.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality products to customers in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to support successful NPI activities
  • Support component verification and validation processes
  • Manage product validation and certification activities
  • Develop and maintain production test equipment
  • Conduct failure analysis and identify root causes
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality and cost efficiency
  • Process and document non-conforming products
  • Provide technical guidance to production technicians
  • Support decision-making for new products, particularly around manufacturability and testability
  • Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met
  • Inspect, test, and process products in line with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate quality and test records
  • Manage RMA processes, including analysis and timely resolution
Reporting LineReports to the Operations ManagerExperience & Background
  • Several years’ experience in a production, quality, test, or RMA environment
  • Proven ability to deliver high standards in a fast-paced setting
Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
Technical Skills
  • Experience with test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analysers, curve tracers)
  • Strong soldering and rework skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project)
