Manager of A Portfolio of ProjectsTitle: Project ManagerJob Purpose:
To deliver a portfolio of projects for Multinational Pharma and Food Projects on time, on budget and in full and to help client in its mission to provide the best technical solution and to be a trusted partner.Responsible for a Portfolio of Projects:
Scheduling, Logistics, Planning and Budget for a Portfolio of Projects from Project Launch to FAT and SAT / Project Handover.Responsibilities will include:
- Reporting to the Head of Production & Project Management
- Owning assigned Projects to SAT.
- Owning Project Scope
- Owning Project Schedule
- Owning Project Budget
- Managing complex projects & installation in different regions of the country or abroad, and develop progress / final reports internally and for customers
- Managing design, fabrication, build, electrical wiring and software teams to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Obtain customer feedback proactively throughout the project timeline, address customer enquiries and resolve issues
- Managing clients' expectations
- Scheduling periodically client meetings - status calls
- Managing the FAT & SAT for the solutions, ensuring 100% compliance to User Requirements
- Ensuring all documentation for solutions is correct according to specification.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintaining high quality work environment.
- Manage the supply and delivery of customer samples required for testing purposes
Skills / Experience:
- Three or more years in project delivery roles - e.g. Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Three or more years of project delivery experience on projects with manufacturing equipment - i.e. Primary, secondary and/or tertiary packaging equipment etc.
- Experience of project managing complex projects - i.e. Multiple work packages, Design, Mech, Elect, Software etc.
- Customer/Client/Stakeholder relationship management experience. Demonstrated success in driving Customer/Client/Stakeholder satisfaction and quality.
- Proficient in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Accepts ownership, is accountable, and delivers on commitments.
- Experience prioritising and managing multiple tasks/issues simultaneously, detail oriented.
- Influencing and negotiating skills when dealing with clients
- Evidence of strong project delivery skills with commercial awareness
- Flexibility and resilience, including the ability to adapt to changing/uncertain conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally with notice.
- Experience in using an ERP system for planning and reporting.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Degree in Engineering
Skills / Experience:
- Five or more years in the Pharma and Food Industry would be preferential, and experience in the automation and machine building industry with technical systems installations is an advantage too
- Experience in Pharma Validation requirements - URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, FDS, RTM etc.
- Certificate of training in project management - e.g. PMP, Agile, etc.

- 3rd Level Education ideally in Engineering or Technical Business Discipline
- Project Management Experience 3-5 Years - Project Engineering Experience at a Senior Level and ready to take the next step.
- Ability to travel to site to customer sites to attend specific project events. (typically for 2-3 days).
