- Develop and implement execution plans, schedules and budgets for assigned mechanical works
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery meets quality, programme and cost objective
- Oversee procurement, logistics and material management within package scope
- Monitor progress against key milestones, managing variations and change control as required
- Support forecasting, reporting and project controls to maintain transparency on package performance
- Ensure all works comply with design intent, project specifications and statutory requirements
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance across all package activities
- Review and approve quality documentation including ITPs, method statements and test records
- Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover processes ensuring full completion of package deliverables
- Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality and performance within the mechanical scope
- Work collaboratively with design, commissioning, commercial and construction teams to ensure project alignment
- Lead package coordination meetings and report on progress, risks and mitigations
- Interface with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication and strong relationships
- Coordinate interfaces with other trades and packages to ensure programme integration and site efficiency
- Provide accurate updates on cost, progress and key metrics to project leadership
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, utilities and process installations
- Proven experience managing mechanical packages on large or complex construction or engineering project
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skill
- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities with experience managing subcontractors
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all level
- Commitment to safety, quality and compliance throughout all project stages
- Experience within life sciences, pharmaceutical, data centre or advanced manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of commissioning, validation and system turnover processes
- Familiarity with BIM, digital delivery and field management system
- Commercial awareness including contract management and cost control
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical project or package management
- Valid Safe Pass and relevant health and safety training (e.g. CSCS or equivalent)
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional membership (e.g. Engineers Ireland, CIBSE
- Postgraduate qualification in project or construction manageme
- Training in GMP, cleanroom or regulatory compliance relevant to life sciences and technology sectors
