Barden are delighted to be supporting our rapidly growing Global Pharmaceutical and Healthcare client in their search for a Laboratory Analyst. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this person will be responsible for performing HPLC Method Development activities and routine testing analytical testing.ABOUT THE ROLE:

Perform routine analysis, for example HPLC, FT-IR, UV-VIS, of test samples against in house specifications.
Perform HPLC Method development for new product launches.
Perform method validations, or transfers of analytical methods, in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
Writing protocols/reports to support method development/validation activities
Drafting product in-house specifications to support routine product testing and route them for approval through the electronic QMS.
Manage supplier performance with respect to sample shipments, sample preparation and supporting documentation.
Support internal and external audits.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Bachelor's degree required. (Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, or other scientific discipline)
2+ years pharmaceutical experience
Solid understanding and knowledge of cGMP and regulatory principles in a finished dose pharmaceutical laboratory environment
Proven knowledge of HPLC method development and validation techniques
