This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the innovation and advancement of our switchgear product lineThe RoleDesign cutting-edge switchgear products that meet international standards (IEC 62271, IEEE C37.20.2)Translate market and customer needs into product specifications and featuresCreate and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed documentationCollaborate with Offering Management, Marketing, Sales, and other departmentsSupport the NPDI process and prototype developmentConduct DFMEA and manage engineering changesEngage with suppliers and remain ahead of technological trendsYouBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent2+ years of experience in mechanical designProficiency in 3D design tools (Creo, SolidWorks, or similar)Strong skills in 2D drafting, GD&T, and PLM systemsExcellent organizational and time management skillsA passion for innovation and commitment to qualityWhy Vertiv?At Vertiv, you won't just join a company-you'll join a mission to power the world's most critical systems.
