As they continue to expand, they’re seeking a Senior Qualified Accountant to take on the role of Financial Controller and lead a small finance team (3 people) through a critical growth phase.About the RoleReporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and strategic financial guidance. This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact.Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements; deliver insights to senior management
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting; build financial models; monitor performance
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain robust controls; ensure regulatory compliance; support audits
- Cash Management: Optimise cash flow and liquidity; manage banking relationships
- Financial Analysis: Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; support strategic decisions
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Process Improvement: Drive automation and system upgrades; stay ahead of financial tech trends
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
