Group Financial Accountant - Recently Qualified - Irish Multinational - Co. LouthA leading Irish multinational organisation is seeking to appoint a recently qualified Group Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 / Top 6 trained accountant (0-2 years PQE) looking to make their first move into industry within a dynamic, growth-focused business. The organisation operates in a fast-paced, evolving environment and offers strong exposure across financial and management reporting, commercial analysis, and strategic initiatives.The OpportunityJoining a high-performing finance function, you will gain broad exposure across reporting, budgeting, and corporate activity, working closely with senior finance leadership in a business that continues to scale both domestically and internationally. This role is ideally suited to someone ambitious, adaptable, and keen to take ownership in a changing environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs
  • Preparation of management accounts and performance analysis
  • Preparation of subsidiary and statutory financial statements
  • Delivering accurate and timely management reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Performing detailed variance analysis and commentary
  • Assisting with accounting for acquisitions and disposals
  • Supporting continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls
About You
  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 0-2 years' PQE
  • Big 4 / Top 6 training background preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiency
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
