In April 2022, Obelisk was acquired by Visabeira, a Portuguese telecommunications and energy service provider with a turnover in the region of €800m per annum, operating across mainland Europe and in the US.JOB SUMMARY:
(i)Providing secondlevel support for software and application issues
(ii)Managing and maintaining a Project Management System (Sitetracker/Salesforce)KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- IT Support specialist who will be joining a fast-paced IT function
- responsible for supporting key business applications, IT systems and
- delivery of IT projects to meet the needs of the business.
- Respond to user enquiries and provide second level support for
- software and application issues.
- Take ownership and resolve issues.
- Identify root cause and develop innovative solutions to prevent
- recurrence.
- Manage and maintain a Project Management
- System (Sitetracker/Salesforce).
- Evaluate, test, and implement new systems and software to improve
- business operations and meet user needs.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless
- integration of new systems with existing technology.
- Develop and maintain knowledgebase articles, user guides, and other
- training materials to support users.
- Make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures.
- Third level qualification in computing or related professional
- qualifications (Microsoft, Comptia etc.)
- Experience of SQL an advantage
- Knowledge of reporting tools and platforms
- Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
