- To provide all patients with high-quality, individualized care by determining their requirements and then independently planning, executing, and analyzing those needs.
- The position requires flexibility in order to work across all specializationsinside the division.
- In addition to being a knowledgeable resource offering patients top-notch care and serving as a knowledge basis for colleagues, the theater team leader will serve as an outstanding role model.
- In the absence of the Theatre Coordinator or as assigned by them, to assume direct managerial responsibility for the clinical area.
- To support the growth and leadership of a designated group of practitioners within the unit complement.
- Registration with the NMBI or a comparable organization.
- A clear dedication to patient safety and quality.
- It is necessary to have at least two years of postgraduate acute care nursing experience in a theater.
- Experience as a theatre nurse and current understanding of theatre procedures
