Reservations Agent Full Time PositionAbout UsAn Chúirt Hotel is a 4-star hotel nestled in the heart of Gweedore, offering warm hospitality, stunning surroundings, and exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team.The RoleAs a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests. You'll play a key role in maximising room sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience from enquiry to arrival.About the roleKey ResponsibilitiesHandle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online systemsProcess bookings accurately using the hotel's reservation systemProvide guests with information about rooms, rates, packages, and hotel facilitiesUpsell rooms, packages, and hotel services where appropriateManage modifications, cancellations, and special requestsLiaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure smooth operationsMaintain accurate guest records and payment detailsDeliver a professional and friendly guest experience at all timesRequirementsPrevious experience in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent telephone mannerGood computer skills (experience with hotel booking systems is an advantage)High attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility with shifts, including weekends if required (Mon to Friday normally)What We OfferCompetitive salary (depending on experience)Staff meals while on dutyEmployee discounts within the hotel/groupTraining and development opportunitiesFriendly and supportive work environmentAbout the companyA family-run hotel & bar group owned and managed by the Gallen Family.Required Criteria
