PE Global is recruiting for a Senior Facilities Engineer on behalf of our biopharmaceutical client in Dublin. This is an initial 12-month contract, hybrid role.Job FunctionThe role is part of the Engineering Department working with various Site Stakeholders and Service Providers. Responsibilities will be split 50/50 between Facilities and Soft Services.The Engineer will have responsibilities including those listed below:
  • Manage GxP and non-GxP related Service Provider contracts supporting Site Operations.
  • Through Service Providers always maintain the facility in a GMP state and audit ready.
  • Safety, Quality and non-Quality related investigations associated with service delivery from Service Providers.
  • Provide Facilities technical support and oversight to the site projects team
  • Budget management and optimisation of services delivered
Contracts in scope include:Facility management, maintenance and repair across all three Ireland sites, including but not limited to Soft and/or Hard Services such as:
  • General Maintenance, including but not limited to:
o Automatic doors, CCTV and Access Controlo New Construction Projects & Renovation or Upgrading of Existing Buildingso Warehousing and Commercial Office Buildingso Gas Boilers & Utilitieso HVAC
  • Sanitization & cleaning of production areas, labs and support areas as required.
  • Pest Control for production areas & non-production Areas.
  • Laundry & delivery of garbing for production areas and non-production areas.
  • Catering provision in the Restaurant and break areas across the site.
  • Security systems including access control & CCTV.
  • Lab supplies and lab services support.
In addition, key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing service delivery and maintaining and developing relationships with Service Providers in partnership with stakeholders such as Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Procurement and Global Departments.
  • Ensuring all the operating systems are in compliance with all Regulatory and Legal requirements including, EPA license, Quality (cGDP/GMPs), EHS, Global Engineering, design & construction directives, requirements & procedures.
  • Support for regulatory and corporate audits.
Requirements:The successful candidate must possess
  • Bachelors (Level 8) Science/Engineering discipline (100% match)
  • 5+ years’ experience providing technical expertise on an operating site (100% match)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand, implement, and monitor regulatory and safety guidelines applicable to the pharmaceutical industry (100% match)
  • GMP and experience in GMP manufacturing environments required (100% match)
  • Safety knowledge (100% match)
  • Strong project management skills (i.e. budget tracking, schedule development and adherence, project reporting, etc.) (100% match)
