This role involves operating machinery, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organised work environment. This role is based at our Newcastle West plant in Limerick and will operate a Continental shift 24/7.Key Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect Goods: Unload shipments, check for damages, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Carry out accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts.
- Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental and quality protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Responsible for effectively navigating and utilising warehouse management software and other computer systems essential for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Manage customer picking to ensure customer orders are picked on time, with no damages and picked in full.
- Liaise with hauliers as regards trailers and manage trailer park
- Manage customer shortages, outside of office hours, when deployment team are off.
- Review available space in warehouse, particularly outside of office hours and action by moving out pallets from racks that only contain 1or 2 or 3 pallets. STO creation to Lucey.
- Work with QC filling out NCRs with pallet information and location.
- Ensure customs documentation (from GTA) submitted to our custom clearance agent for clearance.
- IT Good working knowledge of SAP:EWM and SAP:ECC. Good knowledge of Microsoft suite – Outlook, Xcel, Word, PowerPoint. Also, familiarization with GTA system
- Forklift licence essential. MEWP licence an advantage, Shunter licence advantage.
- Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to promote, proactively engage and ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all employees. Flag any current or potential issues.

- Leaving cert or equivalent
- Additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.
