- You will prepare/co-ordinate/review corporate tax returns for EMEA+ region and ensure associated payments made on time.
- You will prepare/co-ordinate/review VAT/GST returns for EMEA+ region and ensure associated payments made on time.
- You will prepare/co-ordinate/review WHT returns for certain EMEA regions and ensure associated payments made on time.
- You will support monthly/quarterly US GAAP provisioning including calculation of current/deferred tax, foreign tax credits etc.
- You will assist with tax inquiries/audits as they arise.
- You will work with the Global Tax team, third-party advisors, and local finance teams to maintain and prepare support for local transfer pricing documentation for the EMEA region.
- You will work with other finance groups such as Legal, Accounting, and FP&A to improve Riot's business operations and to help implement tax-aligned strategic projects in response to the changing business environment.
- You will work with the EMEA Tax Lead to provide technical support for all entities in the EMEA region on proposed commercial transactions and restructurings.
- You will monitor and analyze changes in local country tax laws, regulations, and judicial precedence to recommend appropriate responses and create value for players and Riot alike.
- You will support the Global and EMEA Tax team and the broader business with consultancy projects and ad-hoc advisory matters (such as e-invoicing, esports events etc).
- AITI qualified in large practice, with an ACA qualification a strong advantage
- 7+ years of experience in tax/accounting or relevant industry experience Multi-jurisdictional experience, as it relates to tax provisioning and compliance, an advantage.
- Experience transfer pricing is a strong advantage
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work independently

- Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel/word/Powerpoint or Google suite
- Experience with financial/tax modelling and automation
