We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated POS Domain Dev Ops Lead to join our team. This senior role is pivotal in leading a team of DevOps professionals, driving best practice adoption across the domain, and ensuring the deployment and maintenance of scalable, secure, and robust point of sale (POS) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in payments or financial services, large enterprise tooling, and regulatory and compliance requirements.What you will do:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and implement best practices, standards, and frameworks for DevOps processes and tools within the POS domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, quality assurance, and operations to ensure seamless integration and efficient deployment of POS solutions.
- Drive automation efforts to improve software delivery processes, reduce time-to-market, and enhance quality.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, maintaining a strong focus on data protection and operational integrity.
- Integrate large-scale enterprise tooling and infrastructure, optimising performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance Fiserv’s DevOps capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Proven experience in a senior DevOps role, ideally within the payments or financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in cloud architectures, software deployment, and large-scale enterprise tooling.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on driving best practices and continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Solid understanding of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
