- Identify, interpret and communicate legislative, regulatory and market developments affecting the Irish pensions market.
- Provide authoritative technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Influence proposition design to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and strong customer outcomes.
- Deliver compelling technical content and insight for advisers, employers and customers
- Good communicator, able to build strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex ideas and information to a range of audiences.

- Deep understanding of Irish pensions legislation, Revenue rules and regulatory frameworks (IORP II, PRSAs, Master Trusts, ARFs, employer schemes).
- Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into clear, actionable business guidance.
- QFA or RPA qualified.
- Extensive experience in a comparable or similar position.
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment and government policy in relation to the pensions and savings/investments markets.
- Knowledge of Royal London Ireland’s pensions and protection propositions.
- Strong commercial awareness of the Irish pensions market.
- Good understanding of customer outcomes risk principles, risk management and governance arrangements.
- Skilled at creating high‑quality technical content for varied audiences.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to design innovative solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong customer focus; a passion for delivering good outcomes for customers and doing the right thing.
