Our client a major multinational is recruiting for a Lab Technician to join their team in Galway.Responsibilities:
  • Execute lab experiments and support assay execution in a controlled environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the Design History File.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to draft protocols for testing and data analysis.
  • Prepare reports and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders.
  • Set up the R&D lab, including authoring standard operating procedures and coordinating equipment procurement.
  • Revise and maintain operating procedures and other documentation as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Manage activities within budget constraints and support quality management system documentation.
Requirements:
  • Higher Certificate, Ordinary or Honours Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in a relevant industrial environment.
  • Willingness to learn and train in the design and optimisation of serological diagnostic tests.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with understanding of statistical analysis.
  • Open and collaborative communication style with proficiency in technical writing and data presentation.
  • Ability to make complex decisions and solve technical problems effectively.
  • Capacity to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with external suppliers.
  • Commitment to acting with integrity and maintaining high ethical standards.
