Parts Advisor

• Assist customers and internal service teams in identifying and sourcing the correct vehicle parts.
• Process parts orders, enquiries, and quotations via phone, email, and in person.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records using a parts management system.
• Liaise with suppliers to order parts and track deliveries.
• Support inventory control processes including stock checks, returns, and stock replenishment.
• Provide technical product information and guidance to customers where required.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe parts counter and storage area.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in ongoing training and development.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Parts Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle components and aftermarket parts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using parts management or dealer management systems.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with commercial vehicle parts (trucks, buses, or light commercial vehicles).
• Forklift licence.
• Automotive qualification or relevant technical training.
• Full, clean driving licence.

• Customer-focused with a professional and friendly approach.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a busy environment.
