Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes) Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in officeA leading technology organisation is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and evolve a modern, cloud-native platform. This role focuses on building and operating scalable infrastructure, improving automation, and ensuring high availability across production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimise AWS-based infrastructure across multiple environments and regionsManage and enhance Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including autoscaling and deploymentsDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflowsImplement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationEstablish monitoring, alerting, and observability across systemsEnsure strong security, compliance, and governance practicesDrive cost optimisation initiatives across cloud environmentsSupport incident response, troubleshooting, and system reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineersRequired Experience5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering rolesStrong expertise in AWS services and architectureHands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environmentsExperience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and GitOps practicesProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systemsExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)Knowledge of cloud security best practices and access controlsDesirable SkillsExperience in regulated or multi-region environmentsExposure to cost optimisation / FinOps practicesFamiliarity with event-driven architectures or workflow tools Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
