Job Title: Maintenance ElectricianLocation: WaterfordCompany Overview:
Join a leading food production company with multiple sites across Ireland, the UK, and continental Europe.Biweekly Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (7am–3:30pm & 3:30pm–11pm, Monday–Friday). Occasional Saturday work required.Salary & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate (+10% addition for the late shift)
3% pension contribution matched after the probation period
Overtime at time and a half
Training and development opportunities

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and process equipment
Lead the site preventative maintenance programme and manage scheduling
Test, inspect, and certify electrical installations and advise management on system procedures
Complete work orders, update mobile maintenance systems, and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site SOPs

Requirements:

Qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer with at least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience
Experience with industrial machinery, automation, controls, and process equipment
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Full driving licence and flexibility for shift work, overtime, and on-call duties
