Finance Manager, FMCG, DublinThe CompanyOur client is a recognised brand in the FMCG sector, they are seeking to expand their finance team. Due to continued change in the sector they are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to support the business growth.The Position:The role is varied and hands-on and will support on many projects to implement change. It would suit an ambitious accountant who is looking to take the next step into a busy role. Some of the duties will involve:

Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts
Financial reporting submissions internally and externally
Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
KPI preparation and analysis
Tax and statutory compliance
Reviewing costs against budget
Review and improve internal controls, policies and procedures
Management of system upgrade

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to progress.The person:The role is high volume and fast-paced and the successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:

Qualified accountant with 2-3 years PQE
Good technical financial accounting skills
Excellent excel skills
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
The ability to work within tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in output.
A well-motivated team player with a strong ability to work on own initiative.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Working knowledge of financial systems
