We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences - regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for leading planning capability and driving operational efficiency across the network:· Ensure robust and informed plans are in place across the estate, delivered in a timely manner· Understand site capabilities and challenges - including run rates, product specifications welfare and origin· Work with site mangers to understand and overcome capacity challenges.· Working alongside Carcass Balance to understand upcoming demand, maximising meat availability, alongside carcass and grade utilisation.· Working alongside Procurement to understand seasonal supply, maximising protein availability and price opportunities are aligned with the business's objectives· Work cross functionally as part of the NIRF process to ensure any new business opportunities are thoroughly assessed.· Gather information on trim and residual generation, working with the sales teams and carcass balance to optimise on internal opportunities or additional sales· Undertake a full review of all planning systems currently in use and ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively· Work with the site schedulers for feedback on plan efficiency allowing us to have improved forecasting and line of sight for line and product yields, along with residual and trim generation accuracy.· Continually look for ways to improve the supply and quality of the material being planned into the internal Sofina demand· To develop understanding of the other pillars of the planning team for further understanding and coverSummaryDriving smarter supply, better utilisation, and seamless delivery across our pork network
