About the Role We are offering a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in landscaping and outdoor work. As a Landscape Trainee, you'll gain valuable skills and experience in garden maintenance, planting, and grounds care, working as part of a community-driven social enterprise. What You'll Be Doing * Assisting with grass care, weeding, planting, and hedge trimming * Learning about seasonal maintenance and plant care * Using tools and equipment under supervision * Helping with small projects to improve and maintain community spaces What You'll Gain * Practical landscaping and groundskeeping experience * Teamwork and time management skills * Mentoring and guidance from experienced staff * Experience that could lead to future employment in landscaping or groundskeepingRole Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Informal: * Practical landscaping experience * Teamwork and time management skills * Mentoring and guidance from experienced staff * Experience that could lead to future employment in landscaping or groundskeeping Formal: WPEP QQI module * Training on safe and proper use of landscaping tools, including string trimmer, mower, hedge trimmer, etc.
