The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring this analysis is relevant for each specific category or market and they will be comfortable using a wide range of analytical tools to help with their analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and insight on their projects to facilitate future decision making based on this analysis.Key Accountabilities:· Design, generate and analyse weekly, quarterly, and annual KPIs for the Merchandising department.· Analyse business data to understand issues, trends, and patterns with a focus on product availability, improving the customer experience & support growth of the organisation.· Identify issues, participate in the development and implementation of merchandising solutions, support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate Merchandising key initiatives and enhance efficiencies.· Participate in and lead various internal and international projects.· Build strong relationships with the Merchandising teams to identify and rectify key issues and challenges and provide analysis and insight that will add value to the team and wider business.· Work cross functionally to improve and standardise processes, improve availability and drive efficiencies.· Co-ordinate merchandising teams to deliver continuous improvement, providing support and training if necessary.· Ownership of the team’s ERP data, ensuring data is kept up to date, is relevant and correct.· Ability to build working relationships with colleagues and managers both inside and outside the team.· Work with complex data set across a variety of technologies.· Work with BT and BI teams to build effective and value-adding reporting structures.Experience & Qualifications:· Degree in quantitative field (preferred but not essential)· Excellent PC skills and systems knowledge (MS Office essential, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred)· Goal orientated with strong numerical and analytical skills· Strong interpersonal and communication skills· Ability to organise and work to tight deadlines· Flexible, innovative and creative in attitudes to all issues and areas of the business· Excellent team player· Flexibility to travel between Sysco sites· Driving License and access to own transport
