- Previous management experience working with food in a Cafe, deli or catering environment,
- Good stock control experience, placing orders for large quantities of fresh food products, stock taking, and ensuring quality is to a high standard.
- Good hygiene management experience, HACCP trained to a high level, competent in food legislation and organised to maintain paperwork.
- Strong organisational, people and customer service skills
- Oversee the running of busy deli production, ready-made meals, hot counter, cold food offering and salad bar
- Responsible for up 4 staff members, organizing work to be completed on time and to a high standard
- Ensuring the department has the correct amounts of stock, using technology and sales reports to analyse stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage.
- Maintaining food safety protocols like hygiene records and HACCP records
- Maintaining the standards across all your assigned departments, ensuring your teams know the expectation of work required of them,
- Training and coaching personnel to follow procedures and excel in their roles to increase department performances by increasing productivity and customer service.
