HVAC Maintenance Technician - DublinRole OverviewMainteance technician role covering the Dublin area.Service, commission, and support humidity control and HVAC-related equipmentDeliver high-quality technical service while exceeding customer expectationsAct as a trusted technical expert and preferred service partnerKey ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate, timely servicing for contract maintenance customers in line with health & safety requirementsDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults on engineered capital equipmentReplace and recommend critical spare parts to restore or improve equipment performanceConduct airflow measurements and unit performance assessmentsCarry out system upgrades and refurbishments on-site or in workshop facilitiesCommission and set up equipment to required performance standardsMatch servicing scope to project quotations and agreed timelinesProduce clear, customer-friendly daily technical service reportsComplete and submit all required health & safety documentation for site visitsIdentify additional servicing or upgrade opportunities with new and existing customersMaintain a professional image and strong customer relationshipsSupport colleagues across regions when requiredMonitor and report competitive market activityParticipate in training, mentoring, and certification renewalSupport other engineering teams (e.g., project engineering, sales support, technical support) when requiredSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum 3 years' field servicing experience with engineering capital equipmentStrong HVAC industry knowledge * F-Gas certifiedExperience diagnosing electrical and mechanical component faultsAbility to assess equipment failures and quantify impact for remedial actionExperience preparing clear and professional technical service reportsKnowledge of airflow calculations and moisture content measurementGood understanding of air handling systemsStrong relationship-building and customer engagement skillsHNC/HND or higher qualification in a relevant engineering disciplineComputer literacy (Word, Excel, and service/reporting software)Key CompetenciesPositive attitudeStrong initiative and ability to work independentlyEffective communication skillsAbility to perform under pressureStrong time management and organisational skillsAnalytical problem-solving abilityFlexible and adaptable approach
