Salary: €52,026A reputable government body based in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its Corporate Governance, Legal Services & Secretariat Division on a 24-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with public sector experience to play a key role in supporting compliant procurement processes across the organisation.Why This Role?

- Support managers across the organisation with the end-to-end procurement process, from specification through to contract award.
- Manage the eTenders process, including creating, publishing, and administering tenders and notices.
- Provide guidance on procurement routes, including the use of OGP frameworks and best-practice procurement strategies.
- Advise on procurement documentation, including templates, evaluation criteria, and procurement timelines.
- Support and oversee tender evaluation processes, including collating scoring and preparing standstill and notification letters.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contract registers and tender documentation.
- Assist with reviewing and updating procurement templates and guidance materials.
- Provide procurement advice and support to staff across the organisation.
- Work closely with the Procurement Specialist to ensure procurement compliance and governance standards are maintained.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in public sector procurement.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and guidelines.
- Direct experience using the eTenders.gov.ie platform.
- Experience managing full end-to-end procurement processes.
- Currently pursuing or holding a Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (IPA) or similar qualification.
- Third-level qualification (Level 8 or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a public sector or government body.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience supporting procurement evaluation panels.
- Full driving licence.
