- Grade 2: €16.00 per hour – after 6 months & successful completion of training
- Grade 3: €16.70 per hour - after a further 6 months & successful completion of training on the line & Line Lead duties.
- Adhere to all departmental procedures, health & safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Plan and prepare for daily production, including staffing, materials, line setup, and specifications.
- Operate machinery efficiently, including start-ups and changeovers, following SOPs.
- Monitor and maintain product quality.
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Analyse performance, downtime, and rejects; identify and report root causes.
- Organise and lead the team daily, ensuring effective communication and task delegation.
- Train and support new operators; coordinate ongoing training needs.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time, including labour capture and daily reports.
- Maintain audit-ready work areas and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
- Report engineering issues promptly and document them using work requests.
- Participate in improvement projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Previous machinery experience.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Proactive and organised.
- Competent with numbers and basic calculations.
