- Manage, review, and coordinate electrical design and construction drawings; resolve technical issues and drive solutions.
- Provide expert technical advice and guidance to subcontractors and site teams on all aspects of electrical engineering.
- Lead and prioritise tasks for the technical team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure full compliance with project plans, schedules, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues using established troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Oversee document control processes, ensuring all logs, records, and technical documentation are maintained and updated.
- Prepare and coordinate test packs and handover documentation for electrical systems in line with commissioning and client requirements.
- Promote and enforce high standards of compliance and governance, including:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve safety risks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance safety and performance.
- Ensure all subcontractors maintain excellent site housekeeping and organisation.
- Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements on large-scale projects
- Data Centre experience is advantageous
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skill
- Competency in MS Office and document control software
