With flexible scheduling, you have the opportunity to build a work schedule that suits your lifestyle and commitments.What you will do:To work within the framework of the overall objective of Focus Ireland and the Focus Ireland values.To work on a relief basis as part of a team within the framework of the policies and procedures in place for the project or as directed by the project leader, assistant project leader or section manager.To work in close liaison and co-operation with other teams within Focus Ireland and other Statutory and Voluntary Agencies as deemed appropriate.To record and maintain records on a relief basis in relation to the project and individual clients in accordance with statutory requirements and health and safety legislation.To attend and participate in team, review and agency meetings as required.To assist in the implementation of the settlement policies and strategies of Focus Ireland.To work in close liaison with and co-operate with other Focus Ireland projects.To undertake such other duties as might be reasonably assigned to you from time to time in consultation with the Project LeaderTo observer all Health, Safety and Welfare at Work regulations and notify management of any risks or concerns you may have in relation to sameWhat you will need:A Third Level qualification at degree level in the area of social care i.e. youth work, social studies, addiction, psychology, etc and/or be a CORU registered Social Care WorkerProven direct work experience in relief/part-time work in a social care settingExperience of supporting marginalised clients/groupsA working knowledge and understanding of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention modelSome experience of key working, assessments and care planningAbility to work well in a team environmentReliability and flexibilityExcellent report writing and IT skillsFocus Ireland is an equal opportunities employerThis role is subject to Garda Vetting and satisfactory reference checks#FI2
