Additional services include supply chain management, order fulfilment, and national distribution.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods by road, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Manage road freight shipments across domestic and international markets.
- Prepare and process all necessary logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, carriers, customs, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding shipment status and proactively manage any issues or delays.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers and logistics providers.
- Address and resolve operational issues such as delays, damage, or lost goods.
- Evaluate and recommend cost-effective transport routes and carrier solutions.
- Monitor and assess transport costs to support budget adherence and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transport partners, and clients.
- Ensure all road freight operations are executed in line with company processes and service standards.
- Proven experience in coordinating road freight shipments within the local market
- Strong understanding of logistics documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in using logistics and shipment tracking systems.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
